LGBT movies to celebrate pride month

LGBT pride also known as gay pride is the promotion of the self-affirmation, dignity, equality, and increased visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people as a social group. Pride as opposed to shame and social stigma, is the predominant outlook that bolsters most LGBT rights movements and has lent its name to LGBT-themed organisations, institutes, foundations, book titles, periodicals, a cable TV station and the Pride Library.

LGBT Pride Month occurs in the United States to commemorate the Stonewall riots which occurred at the end of June 1969. As a result, many pride events are held during this month to recognize the impact LGBT people have had in the world. LGBT pride month starts from June 1 and ends June 30. Here are some queer movies to watch to celebrate the month as it is coming to an end.
