Thoughts about the book?

The novel is your typical steamy male| male romance novel combined with the enemies to lovers plot with just a touch of fake dating which is a match made from heaven. The novel is slow at the beginning but it picks up in the middle drawing you in the slow burn romance between the two main characters- Ned and Abbot.

The chemistry between Ned and Abbot made the novel worth reading, the progression of love between them was impressive. The style of writing was splendid as well, the plot was realistic, the love making in the book was very intense and it was well written. The steamy scenes were so hot!

The plot has that work place romance to it with an academia twist, you don’t even need to have knowledge of academia to read the book. This was 100% satisfying.

The characters in the novel were all so good to read about. Even though it would have been nice to see Abbot’s pov, it is still a lovely read. The ending of the book wasn’t rushed, though it had some loose ends. The novel is an example of a sweet, drama free novel.

Books like this are needed. It can be read in one sitting and there is a sequel to the book: A Place To Go.
